3 Tips To Get the Most Out of Outdoor Yoga In Denver
Bring sunscreen and layers
Even if it’s a beautiful morning, the weather can change in an instant in Colorado. Come prepared for changing temperatures by wearing a few layers to your outdoor yoga class. When it comes time to cool down after an invigorating flow, you’ll really appreciate a little more warmth. And don’t forget to wear sunscreen! An hour might not seem like long, but it’s certainly enough to cause a sunburn.
Use a Yoga Towel
Practicing yoga outside can be a little more bumpy than the studio. Give yourself extra padding by packing a yoga towel along with your mat. And, if you find yourself in a spot that could get your mat dirty, you can always protect it by putting your towel down first. It’s easy to throw it in the wash once you get home.
Don’t forget the water
Make sure to bring a big bottle of water along with you. Particularly if you’re joining a vinyasa flow or practicing on a hot day. The last thing you want is to end up lightheaded or dizzy during a great outdoor yoga class!
