soft, fits nicely, stays on, very warm, nice color selection. i've had a lot of hats like this, lost most of them, and didn't care- but this one i'll hang onto. would like to see a 'blue' option. and i ordered three for us, but only got one Yo Colorado sticker ! now what ? draw straws ? you buy three Yo Colorado beanies, you should get THREE STICKERS. Waiting on the other two. With stylishly warm ears :)
